AlphaSpring is preparing SongBird for macOS and publishing early product documentation and samples. This policy describes the basic privacy approach for the website and early product communication.
Information we collect
If you email AlphaSpring, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, message, and any attachments.
The website is designed as a static site. It does not require an account, payment details, or form submission to browse.
How we use information
- To respond to support, trial, pro, Data API, or business inquiries.
- To improve the product and understand common customer needs.
- To investigate security, reliability, or abuse issues.
Mac app data
SongBird is designed around a local-first workflow where practical. MyWatch, MyPortfolio, prompts, trading configuration, and many user preferences are intended to remain on the user's machine.
AI provider API keys are configured locally by the user. AlphaSpring does not intend to store user AI provider keys through the website.
Anonymous app analytics
Release builds may send a minimal anonymous app opened event
for daily active user measurement. This path is not designed to collect
user input, holdings, trading credentials, API keys, scanner filters,
watchlist contents, or portfolio records.
Users can opt out by setting SONGBIRD_ANALYTICS_DISABLED=1
before launching the app.
Third-party services
The website may be hosted through infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare and GitHub. These providers may process technical data needed to deliver the site securely.
